Grapes from 2 plots were hand harvested and crushed before spending some time on the skins. Fermented with indigenous yeast and the wine was bottled before this process was complete in order to create fizz in the bottle (ancestral winemaking technique, pet nat, is the oldest method of producing sparkling wine).
Aged for 12 months on the lees before being disgorged. No filtration, fining or added sulphur. Perfect balance of fruits and minerality and a lovely bottle to enjoy with food.

All of Jordi’s 15 hectares are situated in and around Blancafort in the Conca de Barberà region, with its Mediterranean climate and nights that are always a few degrees cooler than at sea level, fostering acidity and freshness in his wines. His plots are mostly on well draining sandy calcareous soil and as a geologist Jordi can tell you the intricate details of the soil structure in each and every one of his plots, as well as how the Mediterranean drives the terroirs in his wines in terms of structure and salinity.
