A unique wine, since we are talking about a wine made as a monovarietal with a recovered white grape such as Malvasía de Sitges.

A grape recovered by this project, Set & Ros, made outside DO, and aged in barrels for 6 months which gives it great complexity.

 

A limited production of 3,400 bottles of this estate wine.

 

The vineyard has sandy soils with a lot of influence from the Mediterranean Sea, with which a good salinity is perceived, as well as the freshness that the sea gives it.

 

The wine in this Costenc  that in view of its tasting leaves us with a golden yellow color, with quite intensity, very bright and clean, a movement in the glass with glyceric touches that show us a good and beautiful tear.

In the nose it leaves many fruity aromas, with great intensity, helped by the passage through barrels. Ripe stone fruit (peach or apricot) and tropical fruit, floral contributions. From the aging you can perceive certain creamy touches of the barrel, spices, with a very interesting final aromatic balance with a salty touch.

From the beginning on a dry palate, it leaves a paso also dry but very fresh, round, with a very well-worked acidity that gives it great persistence and a good storage capacity. A medium start, which anticipates a fairly long finish. Aftertaste with much fruit.

 

A really complex, very interesting, different wine, one of those that must be tried because it is surprising, especially if you are a lover of white wines,

Winery

Het domein is gelegen op de mediteraanse voorkust van het miramar gebergte
(550m), in de regio Les Costes. Frisse zeebries gedurende de dag, met grote
temperatuursdalingen 's nachts, dit zorgt voor een optimale rijping. Het gebied van
productie is Alt Camp in de provincie Tarragona.
Voor de oogst, zoekt men extreem rijpe druiven, handgeplukt en meermaals
geselecteerd onder strenge criteria. Een deel van de oogst wordt gefermenteerd in
frans eiken vaten en het ander deel in rvs tanks.
De fermentatie wordt in vaten gedaan op lage temperatuur (18°C) voor 6 maand van
rijping met wekelijkse bâtonage.
